My name is Martin, I’m from Germany. During my studies of Computer Science I’ve spent an exchange semester in South Korea, where I discovered the exoticism of a foreign culture with its history and customs.
Since then I’m travelling around the world, first as a backpacker, hopping from hostel to hostel, later then on foot in the mountains, and by bicycle on the roads of Europe and Africa.
While the mode of transportation can change, the ideals remains the same: Travelling on minimal impact by sleeping and eating local, using simple ways of transportation, preferably on foot, by bicycle or via autostop, and by avoiding flights whenever possible.
Therefore, my travel style is (hopefully) quite sustainable, with a low ecological footprint, a low budget, and full of surprising adventures.
